My Tyrst with hospitals started in 1963, I was born 3 months early I weighed a mere 900 gms.My school years at Frank Anthony ,Bangalore were full of fun joy and unbridled love for the outdoors There were only a handful of us doing ultrasound in Bangalore in the late Eighties, it was getting to work at 7am coming back home late at night and attending emergencies at all odd hours travelling about 100 kms a day with my portable ultrasound machine and visiting 20 25 different hospitals everyday.With the increasing traffic and congestion and exponential growth of Bangalore ,travelling everyday like this became arduous and the idea to start Lotus was born around august 2002 .it was my Mom and Dad who were really encouraged me and guided my wife and me to start a Diagnostic centre which had the most experienced consultants, the latest equipment and was ethically run.
